Overview

Collection of celebrity natal charts - for study and comparison.

Why Famous People's Charts Matter

A chart of a famous person is a study material with a known outcome. You see the configuration and immediately know how the biography unfolded, so you can verify whether the technique truly indicates what actually happened.

That is why astrologers have for centuries studied the charts of rulers and artists. Without a known outcome, any interpretation remains unverifiable.

  • Check the technique using a biography, not an abstract example.
  • Comparison of several charts with the same planetary position
  • Learning and article materials

Birth Time Accuracy & Rodden Rating

A chart angle moves about 1 degree in roughly 4 minutes, so a 30-minute error shifts the Ascendant by 7 degrees and may flip it into the adjacent sign. For public figures, the data source matters more than the technique itself.

The widely accepted Lois Rodden rating scale marks reliability: AA is a birth record, A is the person’s or family’s own words, B is a biography, C is questionable data, DD is conflicting versions. Anything below A is unsuitable for house system work.

  • Birth certificate or state registry
  • A person's, relative's or close person's testimony
  • Biography or autobiography without documents
  • C and DD: data without source or conflicting; houses not built.

What to Read in a Public Figure's Chart

The public biography primarily shows the 10th house, Ascendant, and the strongest planet by dignity. Private life in such a chart is poorly documented, so verifying interpretations of the 7th or 4th house is often not possible.

Stick to topics you truly know: occupation, public image, sharp career turns, dates of notable events.

  • 10th House and its ruler for career
  • Ascendant and its ruler for public image
  • Planet with the highest essential dignity as the leading theme
  • Transits and directions for documented event dates

Compare Your Chart

Synastry with a famous person’s chart is not about relationships-it’s a diagnostic tool: you see how your planets overlay another’s structure and gain clearer insight into your own aspects through a familiar example.

A more practical approach is to look for people with the same placement as yours, for example Saturn in the 8th house, and observe how this theme unfolded in different biographies.

  • Search for charts with the same planet position or aspect
  • Overlaying your chart on someone else’s as a learning exercise
  • Comparison of several biographies with one configuration

Incomplete map data

A curated list of famous charts is always biased: it includes those who achieved fame and excludes thousands of people with the same configuration and ordinary fate. This is called the survivor bias, and it makes any calculation based on such a sample invalid.

Therefore, the database is suitable for learning and illustration, but not for statistical claims about an aspect granting fame.

  • The sample consists only of notable individuals, so it is not representative.
  • Same configuration in thousands of people without a public biography
  • A control group is needed to test the hypothesis, not a selection of stars.
