Technologies We Use

AstroWay does NOT use traditional tracking cookies. We use browser storage to keep: - Your login session (to keep you signed in) - Language preference - Theme setting (dark, light, system) - Application settings (chart colors, aspect configurations, enabled planets) - Saved chart defaults These are strictly necessary for the application to function and are never shared with third parties.

Data Stored on Your Device

The following types of data are stored locally in your browser: - Login session — keeps you signed in between visits - Interface language — your selected language - Theme — your display preference - Chart settings — aspect, planet, and color configurations - Chart defaults — default form values for chart types This data never leaves your browser and is not accessible to any third party.

Third-Party Services

External services used by AstroWay: - Google Fonts — loads typefaces (Inter, Roboto Condensed). Google may set cookies per their privacy policy. - MapLibre GL — renders the astrocartography map using open-source map tiles. No cookies are set. We do not use analytics, advertising, or social media tracking cookies.

Managing Your Data

You can clear all locally stored data at any time using your browser's "Clear site data" function in Settings → Privacy. Note: clearing site data will log you out and reset your application settings to defaults.
