However, this will demand much diligence, and especially the cultivation of inner honesty in assessing one’s real achievements. If the planet is afflicted, there may be an escape from unpleasant realities into the world of illusions, in which Neptune will, of course, assist, but over time cruel disappointments or blows from fate will begin. False pity differs from true compassion, which a person clearly senses when it is directed toward them.
