Sun Trine Venus

A trine of the Sun: Feeling supported by fate, consider what exactly it is supporting. This is a very strong aspect. Karma seems to predetermine that the planetary principle will live well, harmoniously, and happily—at least, this is how it appears to a person at a low level of working out the planet and its trine to the Sun. Therefore, one should not think that a Sun trine means the prosperity of the planetary principle; with equal success, it can mean its decay (but still under a beautiful facade) if human will is directed toward predatory consumption and unreasonable use. In this sense, a Sun–Moon trine is particularly dangerous, especially with a strong Sun, as it allows health to be too easily used in the interests of human will, which in practice most often means the will of one or another rigid egregore. In general, the interpretation of a trine in general and a Sun trine in particular significantly depends on the level of its development. At a low level, with an egoistic direction of will, a person will soon encounter the unpleasant effect that external imperative circumstances only superficially and superficially favor the planetary principle, while internally, i.e., essentially, it does not develop but gradually stagnates, and the person becomes hopelessly dull. Conversely, active development of the planetary principle and its growth will find great support from karma, which will seem completely natural to the person but will actually be the result of their volitional efforts, supported by the planet’s trine. Here, it is very important not to stop, since the creatively supportive influence of the trine ends immediately when the person’s constructive volitional effort weakens, turning into predatory, i.e., forcibly extracting harmony from the surrounding environment and giving it to the person, but in a form that is no longer interesting to them. In the spheres governed by the planet, it is dangerous to fight with this person: the force supporting harmony around them will show no ceremony with you. When interpreting this trine, it is also important to pay attention to the relative strength of the Sun and the planet, but here one should be guided not only by the chart but also by the specific circumstances of the person’s life. In any case, the person will sincerely believe that their will and initiative in the sphere of the planetary principle are perfect, and it is practically impossible to convince them otherwise. A trine of Venus: Love is such a good thing that it is completely incomprehensible how it can cause trouble. A Venus trine gives social protection and luck in the areas governed by the planet, quick and easy recognition that the person takes for granted and, deep down, values little—at least if there are other moments of self-assertion in their life. A Venus trine gives the planetary principle a natural taste and good perception of reality, often even too harmonious: all ugliness becomes unnoticeable or is greatly smoothed over, and a desperate cry for help may sound to the person like a weak and non-binding request. This aspect (even a Venus–Pluto trine) makes love a natural state for the person in the areas governed by the planet, but at a low level, the person tends to extract this love from the surrounding space (and people), using it for personal gain, though externally everything will look quite decent, natural, and it is even strange to think that it could be otherwise. Instead, love and harmony should radiate outward from the person themselves, without thinking about compensation, like a lotus flower that adorns the world simply because it exists and cannot do otherwise. For example, a Venus–Pluto trine at a low level of development gives an abundance of fateful infatuations in a person, from which they most often emerge unscathed and with a decent bouquet (quickly, by the way, wilting) of pleasures, while the victims of fate (and, of course, their own lower passions) are their lovers, who find it very difficult to detach themselves and forget. Development provides an excellent vision of the flaws and vices in the beloved being (and, of course, in oneself), which the person can accurately point out and almost painlessly help overcome—this, in fact, is the karmic program of this aspect. True, few partners can endure such a program for long, but for a short period, it can be very constructive. At the same time, the person themselves can hardly hope for satisfactory emotional love relationships, and if they also have, for example, a Uranus square or a Saturn opposition to Venus, they should not expect a conventionally understood happy marriage. At a low level, a Venus trine gives social (and romantic) relaxation, laziness, and parasitism, often in the form of total ingratitude toward people and life for everything they do for the person—something that is mostly unnoticed by others but, in pronounced cases, is experienced as a heavy blow.
