Jupiter Square Saturn

Jupiter Square: True greatness requires measurement, not proof. Jupiter Square promises the Planet much... unfortunately, it often ends with these promises. In the spheres governed by the Planet, a person senses their greatness, not only potential but also actual, but those around them typically fail to see the latter or question it, while the former somehow fails to manifest. Jupiter Square brings expansion to the Planet, but not in the way the person desires: either in the wrong direction, in a style alien to it, or not at all what the person desires; at least, that's how it seems to the person. This square (it can be called the aspect of Lucifer) brings the temptation of pride, superficiality, and the too-easy acquisition of something not quite what the person desires, and certainly not what they need for evolutionary development. In the Planetary realms, a person is characterized by a constant, superficial interest in "higher matters," philosophical generalizations, and abstract religious approaches. However, this interest tends to stop at the very point where something truly important and interesting begins, not in the form of a luxurious Jupiterian gift, but requiring minimal, focused effort. For example, a Venus-Jupiter square with an accentuated Jupiter can produce a person who attracts a great deal of love, appears beautiful, interesting, and unusual at first glance, but in a specific love relationship, proves completely self-absorbed, filled with their own beauty and overall magnificence, and completely incapable (and unwilling) to cast even a fleeting glance at their partner. This results in a feeling of complete loneliness and hopelessness in terms of social (not to mention emotional and sexual) contacts, but does not diminish their self-esteem. Karmically, this aspect requires (in the Planetary realms) learning to treat gifts and opening doors of fate with extreme caution and care, understanding that they require further work and are ultimately intended for the world, not the individual themselves. At a low level, a person in the corresponding realms is inclined (if even remotely possible) to play the role of a generous benefactor, a role they are exceptionally poor at, as their self-interest and the inadequacy or uselessness of their benefactions are clearly visible, while their general clumsiness evokes more irritation than pity or gratitude (the latter will likely greatly disturb the individual). Working through this aspect grants the rare karmically correct ability to manage one's good fortune and, by rejecting false opportunities and temptations, receive the priceless gift of true help on the spiritual path. This also includes insight into similar problems in others and the ability (in the Planetary realms) to guide others onto the true path by revealing the karmic role of their temptations and allurements, especially personal arrogance and pride. Saturn Square: The steps of the evolutionary ladder are not laid out with a red carpet. Saturn Square presents a person in the Planet's spheres of influence with the challenge of deep self-immersion, developing inner discipline, and searching for truth through silent concentration. The problem here is that, on the one hand, a person is drawn to the Planetary principle, desiring to deeply understand and master it. On the other hand, attempts at such study encounter strong resistance, both external and internal. The study itself proves very difficult, requiring far more concentration and effort than the person currently possesses, and, furthermore, external and internal chaotic forces constantly distract them from this pursuit. As a result of several unsuccessful attempts, the Planetary principle (and, to a large extent, all spheres of its influence) becomes frozen and is accepted by the person as unattainable, although subconsciously extremely desired. The subconscious reacts with various techniques that expose a person to this disharmonious situation; for example, he develops self-saving inferiority complexes and neuroses that protect him from the need to participate in situations that activate the Planet, but which, unfortunately, have various side effects (for example, an increased general level of nervousness, i.e., a constant readiness for trouble, resulting in increased blood pressure, etc.). If a planet is stronger in the square, it can replace some of the purely Saturnian spheres with its principle, suppressing discipline and focus. For example, a Venus-Saturn square with a strong Saturn can result (at a low level) in harshness and rudeness in social contacts and love, while with a strong Venus, it can, conversely, result in frivolity and promiscuity (especially if the square is in a movable cross); in this case, the person's heart will naturally be frozen. A Saturn square makes the spontaneous expression of the planetary principle impossible; here, wisdom and precise adherence to the karmic program are required, which in this position (as luck would have it!) is very subtle and convoluted. This situation is similar to the requirement to carve wood with a cleaver or to dance a ballroom dance in a diving suit. When a person begins, every move is crude, crude, and unsatisfactory from every perspective. However, the desire to learn and ambition can be very strong, and much depends on the person themselves, their inner integrity, and their overall desire to realize themselves and participate in the evolutionary process (as they understand it). Working through the Saturn square gives a person within the planet's spheres of influence subtlety, wisdom, and the ability to recognize and help develop corresponding abilities in others when they are not yet noticeable to others.

Because such a person has a great deal of difficulty recognizing their own limitations, they will constantly strive to move forward, even in the most unfavorable situations. Success will come to them when they reach adulthood, but until then, they will constantly feel as if they never receive the recognition they deserve. Despite all their materialism and diligence, they lack sufficient drive and don't always sense the right direction. They must understand their own worth and stop comparing themselves to others, as this always happens to their own detriment. They often find themselves in danger due to natural disasters and catastrophic events beyond their control. Their professional life is fraught with difficulties, as a weak will and impatience at work breed mistrust among their colleagues. Their life is full of drastic changes and adverse developments, failures and worries, mistakes and failures. At the same time, they can be quite dreamy and religious, even to the point of ecstasy. The main losses in life concern legal justice, property disputes, and financial speculation. The main danger stems from a combination of betrayal by loved ones, their own treachery, excessive trust in swindlers, and extreme extravagance. The life of such a person is always fraught with financial problems and misjudgments in planning work. With a strong Saturn, life is marked by hard and intense work and a lack of personal initiative, or this person is prone to taking on more than they can handle. With a strong Jupiter, there is a lack of discipline and the inability to effectively utilize accumulated experience; a poor sense of time, an inability to manage it, and a tendency toward depression also do a disservice. Such a person needs to learn patience and consistency, master the rhythm of gradually approaching their goals, and eradicate excessive ambition and indecision.

Difficulties in business and finance. Bad luck in the profession. Misjudgments in planning, especially financial ones. With a strong Saturn, there is a lack of initiative or confidence to take advantage of opportunities, or they take on obligations without being prepared. With a strong Jupiter, there is little discipline and experience. With a strong Saturn, there is hard, persistent work, but no scope or confidence to inspire others. They manage their time poorly, are late, and are unable to convey their work or requests to others. They need to learn to patiently pursue their goals, avoiding excessive ambition and excessive indecision, and when necessary, they must take responsibility. They often work in subordinate positions in organizations, often slaves to a monotonous routine, and seem boring. They themselves are bored, hence melancholy and depression. Professional and family problems often weigh on them, preventing them from developing and acting freely. Difficulties in religion, too orthodox, conservative, materialistic. Everyone is inflexible.

Opposition, square: the person, on the one hand, prefers to avoid difficulties and seek pleasures, and on the other hand, feels the urge for prudence, based on strictness and self-control, becoming a victim of this contradiction. Depending on which planet is dominant in the chart (due to angularity or combination of dominant planets), he will give up one of these qualities in favor of the other, however, without being able to completely "cut" it out of himself. This is the type of cheerful person who blames his cheerful disposition and waits for punishment, or it is an ascetic with a sense of dissatisfaction, jealous of those who sleep well at night.

You end up taking an unplanned course of action that lacks any organization and seldom holds up for long. Taking the easy way out can be very painful. You come back to square one again and again.
