Uranus Square Pluto

A square of Uranus: A mediocre talent craves a moment of inspiration, a great one craves a moment’s respite from it. Squares of higher planets produce the effect of fate, a struggle against which is futile—more precisely, harmful, since a person can seriously spoil their life (and that of those around them) by behaving incorrectly in the spheres governed by the planet squaring the higher one. However, a person chooses the manner of relating to events and the way of perceiving them—the so-called point of view: both the point they look at and the point from which they look, i.e., the position from which they observe. This choice largely determines their working out of squares to higher planets and, consequently, their fate within the framework of world karma. For example, a Venus–Uranus square not only gives an irresistible inclination toward eccentric and uncontrollable social behavior in the most unsuitable circumstances but also an inability to love a partner who does not change over time—the person grows unbearably bored. In this regard, one can change partners every month, or one can change their point of view on the same person daily, discovering something fundamentally new in them, though the second option is far more difficult. In general, a Uranus square endows the planet with genius on the verge of normality (sometimes beyond it), yet it is often very difficult to constructively realize Uranian ideas and revelations. A person must strive to understand the meaning of their eccentricity, learn to read Uranian signs in planetary manifestations, and then they will begin to partially see through the complex pattern of karma woven around them and perhaps reveal to the world something hitherto unseen, incomprehensible, and impossible—yet real. The manifestations of a Uranus square cannot be understood—they can only be accepted and learned to be used somehow. Yet, despite all the luck and effectiveness of their applications, a person will retain the impression that they are firing cannons at sparrows, while the target worthy of Uranus remains invisible. A Uranus square offers wonderful opportunities to put sticks in the wheels of others, and if a person sets their goal to obstruct evil and involutionary programs, they can become very inventive in this. Unfortunately, more often this square is used, on the contrary, to disturb the evolutionary flow, creating eddies in it—i.e., karmic knots—through which, of course, the creativity of the Absolute manifests, but the person through whom this creativity is realized becomes a black teacher. Yet for the fate of a specific person, it matters little at what level and how this black teaching occurs, whether in the role of a critic, informer, or executioner. Therefore, one should be attentive to the manifestations of a Uranus square, since minor accents (including one’s inner attitude toward what is happening) can have far-reaching consequences. A square of Pluto: Angelic wings grow where the cross of fate has chafed. The influence of a Pluto square manifests as a certain discomfort for the person regarding the sacrifices in the area governed by the planet that fate will demand of them; at least, this is how it will seem to the person. They must reconcile themselves to the idea that these sacrifices will be demanded at an inopportune moment and will entail unpleasant consequences of a seemingly entirely unnecessary and superfluous nature—but such, alas, is the nature of this karmic program. A Pluto square is the aspect of Job, though fortunately not always as extreme. The manifestations of the planetary principle in the external world will sharply displease the person, and they will feel compelled to impose order in this regard, for which they will need corresponding power. The design of karma, however, is directly opposite: to bring purity and order to the area of the planetary principle within the person’s inner world and subconscious, for which they must gain power over their instincts and lower inclinations related to the planet. Until the person realizes this, they will repeatedly face heavy sacrifices and fate pursuing them to the exact extent that they provoke it—regardless of whether consciously or unconsciously, intentionally or accidentally, from the best or worst motives. The essential point is that in the area governed by the planet, the person acts like a magnifying glass, sharply revealing their (and others’) minimal imperfections and flaws. This aspect offers great opportunities for inner development and self-purification, while simultaneously producing black teachers of the dictatorial type in the world—those who destroy the low and average manifestations of the planetary principle in the external world by force, fire, and sword, leaving only the most refined (which go unseen) or, at times, mere ashes. At the average level, rigid behavior with elements of crude domination and nihilism toward others is typical, combined with a desire to master the planetary principle oneself. Internally, the person very much wants to present their ideal to the world, but this simply does not work out, or (in the person’s view) the world is simply not mature enough and thus incapable of recognizing the perfection revealed to it.

Such people’s credo is idealism in politics. They fight injustice, often drawing others into this struggle and seemingly shifting their own duties onto them. They are impatient, bold, daring, reckless, and imprudent. Their instinct for self-preservation is strongly expressed, while the ability to compromise is lacking. Women with such aspects tend to feel keen dissatisfaction with life, believing they deserve a higher position. Many perceive such a person as unrestrained, defiant, overly hot-tempered, nervous, and prone to violence and destruction. They are stubborn and extravagant, radical and maximalist. This is a staunch extremist and revolutionary, an advocate of coups and uprisings. They only feel their connection to the historical process in an atmosphere of upheavals and collapses. They crave to change the existing order, though an unconscious pull toward violence lurks behind the facade of lofty and pure intentions. From childhood, such people have to overcome various social difficulties, so no period of their life can be called carefree. Even when born into a wealthy family, security is not guaranteed. When these aspects are strongly activated, the individual is often prone to sexual excesses. Their normal state is one of struggle, combat, and rebellion. Their colossal energy is rarely channeled in the right direction; the danger they bring into the lives of others stems from the combination of great magical power and an inability to choose the correct way to apply it. They tend toward extremes in everything—radicalism, outbursts of rage, and violent explosions.

The generation born in the 1930s lived through a time of upheaval. Life is shaken by wars, revolutions, and collapse. The effect on the individual depends on how strongly the planets are positioned, whether they are in angular houses, and whether they have aspects to planets and house cusps. Stubbornness, extravagance, radical political views, and revolutionary tendencies are characteristic. This is the aspect of the masses, showing how the fate of the masses influences the individual, which depends on the aspects and positions of Uranus and Pluto. These people want to change the existing order. They have high and pure motives and ideals, but from birth they have had to cope with carelessness. This period in history is associated with sexual excesses. They should remember this.

Opposition, square: a person tends to cultivate his distinctive features, strives to be "not like everyone else", in extreme manifestations of this tendency can shut himself off from the world. He can also take advantage of these distinctive features in the pursuit of unlimited power, or eliminate from the "worldly vanity" and give no one needs judgments.
