Figuratively, such people can take on the “raw material potential” and turn it into a market one with a flick of the wrist. This is the Gate of the dodger (fraudster) who has enough confidence to turn any situation to his advantage. Those with this Gate of Ego naturally demand rewards for their skills. They want to rise in the hierarchy, but the ultimate goal is to get to a position where they don't have to work at all. They have tremendous survival power, the ability to find the shortest path in any situation and get out of any scrape. However, without the 44th Gate, they lack the awareness and knowledge of humans. They may have the presence and ability of a transmitter, but without 44 they do not know what, to whom, when and where to transmit. The urge to take action despite the evidence of history. The failure of the ego to respect experience. Line 3 Influence. The ability, once prepared to gather support. Sun exalted. The authority to focus communal effort. The power of the ego to gather support. Saturn in detriment. The leadership, while gathering support will underestimate potential challenges. The egoist unable to recognize the potential challenges in others. Line 4 Censorship. The alteration of memory through elimination. Pluto exalted. The ability through censorship to save the collectivity from itself. The power of the ego maintained through forgetting. Saturn in detriment. The use of censorship to maintain the status quo; selective memory in fear of unrestrained consequences. The power of the ego maintained through selective memory. Line 5 Adaptability. Mars exalted. The understanding of mechanics and the application of energy to achieve maximum potential. The power of memory which maximizes the potential of the ego to attract others. Venus in detriment. A resistance and dissatisfaction when basic changes to nature are necessary. The resistence of the egoist to adaption. Line 6 Authority. The natural attainment of influence justified by the correctness of actions. Sun exalted. The embodiment of reason and purpose that passes the test of time. The strong ego whose influence is justified by the correctness of its actions. The Moon in detriment. Authority as a symbol and focus but not necessarily as a true embodiment. The constitutional monarch, stripped of real power but still the symbol of the continuity of authority. It is directly related to the material plane and the labor sphere and works best when focused on achieving specific goals in the material world.

This energy allows you to evaluate current opportunities and determine the actions that need to be taken. People who instinctively know what others are capable of. These are some kinds of geniuses who are able to intuitively determine exactly what talents / skills others have, and if their Spleen Center is determined, these guesses can always be relied upon. In such people, past experiences are stored in the cellular memory of the body. They operate with instinctive vigilance based on their past successes and failures. The fear that the past will repeat itself is a person's survival mechanism, protecting not only him, but also the community of which he is a part. The 44th Gate must exchange its instinct with the 26th, which represents the willpower needed to truly lead people effectively. Without the 26th Gate, the 44th will remain just the instinct of knowing people without the ability to control them. A mastery of the collective that can establish restrictive conditions for inferior components and with the ability to enforce them. An alertness to patterns than can lead to mastery of the collective. Venus in detriment. An attractive nature that will interact with inferior forces and will fail to apply restrictions resulting in a risk to continued harmony. The failure of the instinct out of the need for harmony. Line 2 Management. Jupiter exalted. The development and management of a proper collective structure which restricts inferior elements by creating cooperative modes that integrates these forces with progressive and superior forces. The possibility that alertness to patterns will result in management capability. Mars in detriment. A tendency in management to concentrate exclusively on goals, ignoring inferior elements which leads inevitably to quantitative success and qualitative failure. The instinctive memory for the patterns that bypasses the development of managerial capability. Line 3 Interference. The failure to interact based on circumstances. Mars exalted. The ability to recognize the threat of interference and to prepare for its effects. The alertness and instinct to handle the ego of others. Neptune in detriment. A deluded response to interference that gets stuck in projection and as a result is unrealistic in appraisal and error prone. The possibility that the instinct cannot handle the ego of others. Line 4 Honesty. The refusal to engage in hypocritical interaction. Pluto exalted. Indifference at its most logical and cutting. The indifference possible when guided by the instinctive memory. Sun in detriment, that in extreme situations, in cases of self-sustainment, will expect assistance from forces it has totally rejected. Here the honesty is the genuine need. The sacrifice of indifference for survival. Line 5 Manipulation. Uranus exalted. The ability to transform interaction with inferior elements into the energizing of progressive process with the additional benefit, that in tapping the inferior elements they remain weak. Where the instinctive recognition of the patterns leads to the possible manipulation of others. Mars in detriment. The tendency in this form of manipulation to become abusive and degenerate to their level. The possibility that the instinctive recognition of the patterns could lead to the abuse of others. Line 6 Aloofness. Pluto exalted. A perfected renewal in which the establishment of a new form inures one to the condemnation of the rejected. The awareness of patterns which ensures one's instinctive well-being. The Earth in detriment. Intolerance and arrogance for lesser mortals. This Center instantly catches any threats from the outside, gives the necessary signals and makes you move in a safe direction. It is also responsible for the functioning of our immunity.
