Uranus Square Neptune

A square of Uranus: A mediocre talent craves a moment of inspiration, a great one craves a moment of respite from it. Squares of higher planets produce the effect of fate, against which it is futile to struggle—more precisely, harmful, as one can seriously ruin their life (and that of others) by behaving incorrectly in the spheres governed by the planet in square to the higher one. However, a person chooses the way they relate to events and the way they perceive them—the so-called point of view: both the point they look at and the point from which they look, i.e., the position from which they observe. This choice largely determines their working through of squares of higher planets and, consequently, their fate within the framework of world karma. A person must try to understand the meaning of their eccentricity, learn to read Uranian signs in planetary manifestations, and then they will begin to partially discern the complex pattern of karma woven around them and, perhaps, reveal to the world something hitherto unseen, incomprehensible, and impossible—yet real. The manifestations of a Uranus square cannot be understood—they can only be accepted and learned to be used somehow. Yet, despite all the success and effectiveness of their application, a person will retain the impression that they are firing cannons at sparrows, while the worthy target worthy of Uranus remains invisible. A Uranus square provides excellent opportunities to put sticks in the wheels of others, and if a person sets the goal of hindering evil and involutionary programs, they can become very inventive in this. Unfortunately, this square is more often used to disrupt the evolutionary flow, creating eddies in it—i.e., karmic knots—which, of course, manifests the creativity of the Absolute, but the person through whom this creativity is realized becomes a black teacher. However, for the fate of a specific individual, it matters at what level and how this black teaching occurs, whether in the role of a critic, informant, or executioner, so one should be attentive to the manifestations of a Uranus square, as minor accents (including one’s inner attitude toward events) can have far-reaching consequences. A square of Neptune: One needs a great deal of inner honesty to recognize its absence in oneself. This is a difficult aspect. A Neptune square gives distorted meditations, often of a lower order, an inexplicable attraction to the planetary principle for a person, coupled with a very poor understanding of it—or rather, a false understanding, illusions, and delusions from which it is hard to believe and even harder to let go. Neptune deceives a person, the person deceives the whole world and themselves, then sees part of this deception and stops believing—in everything, including themselves, though not for long (or rather, partially), after which they deceive themselves and the world again, and the world deceives them. This can lead to an abyss, despair, vices, or, conversely, awaken a higher aspiration and call a person to God. The outcome is hard to predict, but in any case, a person should always remain vigilant and never consider any conquered position final. In this case, the lower nature can be fed by very dirty meditations (in the form of alcohol, drugs, family scandals, etc.), and it will not be easy to re-educate it. A Neptune–Saturn square can give a perverted pleasure in one’s inability to do anything, and a person may live for a long time in a cycle: a brief concentrated effort ending in nothing—a prolonged meditation on one’s own worthlessness, with a masochistic tinge, likely dragging in close relatives and a psychoanalyst. (In general, a square of higher planets is an aspect of black teachers, in this case with a mystical and psychological bias.) Karmically, this aspect signifies the need to work through the theme of self-deception and lower meditations ("vice") on the material of the planetary principle whose inclusion makes the corresponding subconscious programs very distinct. This work is complex; it requires abandoning all lower meditations (including sweet self-accusations) and consistent, honest, constructive work in the areas related to the planet. Involving Pluto and, to some extent, working through Saturn helps. At a high level, a person comprehends the subtlest manifestations of the planetary principle and its connection with the principle of cosmic love as it manifests in external reality and the souls of specific people, which can make them a mystic, preacher, or saint. Yet, the irrational feeling of guilt before the world in the spheres of the planet will never leave them.

This is a very intense and easily excitable person, yet acutely aware of their own limitations. Positively expressing their emotional energy is crucial to them. Their idealism is at times vague and impractical. They can occasionally display excessive irascibility, but during calm periods, they are apathetic and withdraw into their shell. At times, they inexplicably find themselves in strange, exciting, and incomprehensibly mysterious situations. They are quite rigid in their opinions and views. Idealism is combined with a penchant for intrigue. Generally, when these aspects strongly influence a horoscope, a contradictory and disharmonious personality emerges. The period of these aspects is a time of social stress. Under their influence, people are forced to take responsibility for resolving many life-changing issues.

Unless these planets are in angular houses and have aspects, the degree of anxiety experienced depends on the house and sign where these planets reside. These people are prone to strange, difficult-to-understand, and disturbing events. They are very irritable, stubborn, and have inflexible opinions and views. Connections with secret societies and intrigues are possible, and idealists are also possible. Mediumship, occultism, and the entire horoscope are unnecessary. Contradictions and disharmony are common.

A generation living in an age of social anxiety. In general, people are prone to emotional and mental turmoil. However, if the planets are not in angular houses, do not have other negative aspects, and the entire horoscope is relatively calm, the matter is limited to disturbances in the houses and signs where these planets are located. People are stubborn, irritable, with inflexible views. Possible connections with secret societies, intrigue.

The rebel in you likes to ignore your dreams and ideals and just let come what may. You relish your freedom and independence and pursue it even at the expense of what you know you really want. You can take delight in ruining your own deep-rooted dreams. The romantic in you struggles against the frontier spirit that often moves you to action.
