AQUARIUS. Ruler: Uranus. The Cosmic Aquarius.
The transformative zone gives us a partly ideal manifestation of the elements; in relation to the air element, this no longer means mind and communication, but rather a super-mind and super-communication—hints at how these qualities are represented in the sphere of the Cosmos or how they will be in the future.
The Aquarius Person.
Aquarius (alongside Cancer) is one of the most mysterious signs of the Zodiac, though (unlike Cancer) it does not intend to be. Aquarians are often said to be messengers from the future or agents of flying saucers; without delving into the substance of this claim, it should be noted that there are certain indirect grounds for such opinions.
Aquarius is characterized by a great deal of coldness and detachment from the world; their primary interest lies in (mental) ideas, while people are only relevant insofar as they perceive those ideas. Whereas Gemini transmits information, so to speak, horizontally—from one person to another—Aquarius operates through vertical communication, from heaven to earth, meaning that ideas come to them directly from the Cosmos. Thus, Aquarius’ key ideas are highly specific, unique to them, and incomprehensible to the other zodiac signs. The first challenge for Aquarius is to decipher the information (ideas, thoughts, impulses) that reaches them—often as if by revelation or enlightenment. This is usually quite difficult, as adequately perceiving fundamentally new ideas always requires the development of a specialized symbolic language, which Aquarius initially lacks (or which may not even exist). An unprepared Aquarius often receives cosmic information through a general (nonspecific) symbolic language, unaware of the precise meaning of the symbols reaching them—sometimes not understanding them at all, sometimes only guessing what they represent.
Therefore, the first major task of Aquarius is to develop (through dialogue with the egregore) an adequate language in which they—and through them, the rest of humanity—can understand what the Cosmos is trying to convey and what precise information it is attempting to transmit. However, this requires considerable effort and a sincere desire to comprehend, which, unfortunately, is not inherent in all Aquarians. As a result, many of them wander the world speaking strange and unpleasant things, abstractly preaching fantastical ideas that remain raw material—something they are acutely aware of. An undeveloped Aquarius tends to think: “My role is to voice a hypothesis. Later, a talented person will refine it into a discovery.” The flaw in this reasoning is that someone gifted enough to make a discovery from such an unrefined idea would do so without Aquarius’ help, while Aquarius is already given the key and must (karmically) turn it themselves. This does not mean, however, that Aquarius must implement their discoveries in practice; their task is to develop a new and adequate language for their informational channel and, using it, construct a detailed mental framework that expresses their revelation in terms comprehensible to others. Once this is done, Aquarius typically loses interest in the idea as it becomes mundane and moves on to the next.
The second major task of Aquarius is to find the right recipient for their ideas. The problem is that society is usually unprepared for them, as they come from too distant a future and are not immediately realizable—or Aquarius themselves does not fully grasp them. (Most often, both circumstances are at play.) As an air sign, Aquarius is karmically obligated not only to create an adequate symbolic language for their ideas but also to teach others this language and pass on their knowledge (or rather, the mastered informational channel). This is not always easy, and part of Aquarius’ task is to develop a precise language that is not only understandable and convenient for them and the egregore but also for potential students. Thus, a developed Aquarius, regularly dwelling in spaces (especially mental ones) inaccessible to other signs, eventually returns to Earth and carefully observes the current mental interests and problems within their environment to ensure their ideas and symbolic language align with them.
An undeveloped Aquarius (as a rule), on the other hand, seeks to maintain and strengthen their informational channel without concern for whether others understand them, often being seen as strangely eccentric or slightly unhinged. They are extremely mentally independent and frequently stubborn, which (subconsciously) reinforces the stability of their initially weak channel with highly unstable effects, resulting in heavily distorted information. Aquarius’ constancy (the fixed cross) is unfortunately expressed in the instability and resilience of their connection to the subtle world, as well as in the relentless efforts of the egregore to establish informational contact with them—and in the stubbornness with which Aquarius defends and promotes their ideas, though unlike Gemini, they do not seek widespread popularity, often restricting the dissemination of their ideas to a narrow circle of friends and (relative) like-minded individuals. As Aquarius develops, their channel strengthens and becomes more stable, interference decreases (though it never drops to zero), and they must then curb their eccentricity, reduce their stubbornness, and turn their attention to the world around them—for which (something Aquarius tends to forget, though the egregore never does) they exist.
The influence of the water element in Aquarius lies in the fact that they (perhaps subconsciously) see their ultimate goal as transforming the reality around them in accordance with the ideas and ideals that flash through their mind. This does not add empathy to their nature, but it makes the concept of friendship exceptionally important to them. Friendship is a natural state for Aquarius, replacing all other types of human relationships. They befriend everyone they meet who does not resist it, without imbuing the concept with emotional undertones but focusing on shared interests. Since a normal Aquarius, as an air sign, can be interested in any mental idea, the number of their friends is limitless. For a highly developed Aquarius, the vague notion of friendship is replaced by a sense of unity among people fulfilling a shared karmic task or bound by a single egregore and a conscious principle of cosmic cooperation, which will become the foundation in the Age of Aquarius. The emotional coldness and detachment from ordinary life that characterize Aquarius give way to a sense of cosmic brotherhood within the Universe, evolving along its path, where all living beings are seen as irreplaceable, relatively independent, and developing parts of a single great organism. To bring this sense of unity into the world is one of Aquarius’ primary karmic tasks.
Uranus as the first ruler of Aquarius gives it its characteristic explosiveness and unpredictability. No one can predict what an Aquarius will say or do in the next moment—not even themselves. As a planet of higher revelations, Uranus grants Aquarius the ability to know what is unknown to others and likely will remain so for a long time, but, unfortunately, it never explains what to do with this knowledge. The rulership of a higher planet imposes high demands on the spiritual level of a person seeking self-realization under Aquarius. The fact is that at a low or even average octave, an Aquarius poorly understands the meaning of what is happening to them, while simultaneously sensing its importance for the world. Unable to delve deeply or properly prioritize, they consider their eccentric manners and sometimes absurdly original way of thinking to be imbued with profound meaning, when in reality they are merely foam on the surface of a powerful mountain stream. Yet, penetrating to the depths while remaining under Aquarius is extraordinarily difficult. The only thing that helps an Aquarius is their returns to external reality and honest attempts to refine and implement their semi-fantastical ideas. Then, a deeper processing of the idea begins, and upon next ascending to the higher mental (and spiritual) spheres, Aquarius will pose a question to the egregore to clarify the idea received previously. This, on one hand, initiates its practical realization, and on the other, truly begins the implementation of the principle of cosmic cooperation—one of whose manifestations is the assistance of higher-evolved beings to those lower who desire it.
Saturn as the second ruler of Aquarius imparts a certain inner pessimism to it, which is usually not overtly expressed but distinctly felt. This is because Aquarius operates at the intersection of the present and the future, perceiving the former as the past—often a deep one. Aquarius intuitively senses to what extent their ideas outpace their time and how small a portion of them can be realized in any way. At the same time, with careful refinement, Saturn grants Aquarius the ability to differentiate their ideas by their accessibility to contemporaries and the capacity for persistent and arduous labor. Thus, a developed Aquarius, being a fixed sign, wields great strength and influence over their society.
Saturn’s skepticism extends to Aquarius’ Uranian ideas, rejecting the most eccentric and lightweight ones while subjecting the rest to thorough scrutiny and analysis. However, when Saturn’s limiting influence occasionally takes precedence, it can suppress Uranus’ creative principle, and the person ceases to take their original ideas and impulses seriously, dismissing them as empty fantasies and constantly confining themselves within rigid frameworks of socially accepted dogmas.
Thus, Saturn grounds Aquarius, while Uranus elevates it to higher mental (and spiritual) spheres, and the balancing of these two principles is Aquarius’ main task. In youth, the lower Uranus often dominates—namely, incomprehensible, false eccentricity, independence, and stubbornness—but after the age of 30, the opposite tendency may emerge, where the lower octave of Saturn comes to the fore, and the person becomes excessively cautious, pragmatic, and mentally limited. However, the opposite variant is also possible: Saturn’s principle takes precedence from the outset, while Uranus’ influence is only felt after Saturn’s influence is worked through; this is even more constructive, though psychologically difficult for the person to believe in their hidden potential for breakthroughs into the future and creativity after 30–40 years of gray, mundane existence.
Nevertheless, Uranus’ influence is often first distinctly felt in any person—especially Aquarius—at ages 40–42, during its transit opposition to the natal position; if this stressful period is poorly processed, the person "goes mad," committing chaotic, reckless acts, but if processed at a higher level, they attempt to expand consciousness, as the influence of the World Mind is strong at this time. At age 29 (Saturn’s transit over the natal Saturn), a person gains a new level of awareness of their responsibility to the world and themselves, with about 12 years to reflect, and at 40–42, Uranus truly offers the chance to start life anew.
The Sun’s fall places a peculiar emphasis on Aquarius’ karmic task, the essence of which is impersonal participation in the process of merging future ideas with the present. In other words, a developed Aquarius understands that the ideas coming to them are not (entirely) the product of their mental efforts but, for the most part, are directed messages from higher-evolved entities, the ultimate goal of which is to aid the present in the evolutionary process. Therefore, their will (the Sun principle) must be directed not toward creating ("their own") ideas but toward the most accurate and detailed reception of the information received from outside—this is the highest realization of the air principle. Aquarius’ initiative also extends to which contemporary problems they deem most relevant (among those of interest to their egregore) and in which direction they will develop the symbolic language through which they perceive information, as well as what clarifying questions they will pose to the egregore.
Only with full awareness of their karmic task and the cultivation of appropriate humility in their worldview and behavior can Aquarius work through this symbolic position (i.e., the Sun’s fall) and achieve self-realization. An unworked Sun gives Aquarius a sense of alienation from this world, yet they are also not included in the subtler planes—they seem suspended between heaven and earth, between the future and the present. Their vague intuitions seem to them the only correct, brilliant, precise, and clear concepts, unrealizable solely due to humanity’s impenetrable inertia and stupidity. Their whims, false self-confidence, and foolish eccentricity appear as a unique, incomparable, and the only possible way for them to behave. Yet the Sun’s fall is also positive in some ways, especially at a low level of processing: Aquarius tends not to speak about themselves; at most, about their ideas, which they perceive (subconsciously) impersonally, as if they were not theirs. An Aquarius, even if not emotionally engaged, will still speak to a new acquaintance not about themselves but about the other person’s interests. If it is a woman, she will not immediately start talking about her children and home; if it is a man, he will not strike a characteristic pose or drag a stranger into bed after a ten-minute conversation.
The culmination of Mercury grants a developed Aquarius extraordinary abilities to create flexible symbolic languages—on one hand, comprehensible to their contemporaries, and on the other, sufficiently adequate for transmitting the information channeled to them. The cultivation of such abilities is necessary for Aquarius so that vague ideas and patterns can be transformed into real knowledge. This work of Aquarius is largely creative, as they simultaneously create new forms within the egregore transmitting the information to them and determine the external appearance, i.e., the form of their concepts—which is by no means indifferent to humanity and to some extent influences the laws of nature. Any system of concepts and definitions changes the world: a well-thought-out one makes it more harmonious, while a rigid and clumsy one makes it ugly.
An unintegrated Aquarius tends to use overly fragmented and poorly coordinated concepts, signs, and symbols, in the vain hope that at least those who matter will understand him anyway. He is excessively independent in his means of expression and disinclined to develop and refine them, especially in the realm of the subtle world. Beginning Aquarius tends to deify any information from this realm without realizing that it requires significant processing, correction, and translation into a language comprehensible to humanity—language that Aquarius himself must gradually develop. To recognize and do this is not at all simple; yet Aquarius is inspired by a general love for the new and a desire to help humanity in its evolution.
Pluto’s fall in Aquarius symbolizes the difficulty of practically implementing Aquarius’ ideas, which in reality demand a fundamental restructuring of the existing state of affairs. An unintegrated active Aquarius often acts destructively, destroying his environment, which is unable to perceive alien yet energetic thought-forms. Here, the lower octave of Pluto manifests. Integrating this symbolic position means Aquarius recognizes the need for a detailed and comprehensive transformation of reality based on his initially rather abstract ideas. The difficulty (symbolized by the fall) lies in the fact that Pluto offers either an overly political or an overly subtle plan of action, both equally challenging for Aquarius with his somewhat abstract-mental categories. However, the overall meaning of this symbolic fall, as well as the culmination of Uranus in Scorpio, requires a more detailed and thorough analysis than this textbook allows.
The Aquarius situation is reflected in many works of science fiction, excluding only those where a socio-ethical orientation prevails (in the latter, the Sagittarius tone predominates). All manner of inventions, unexpected witty constructive solutions, incomprehensible mental synthesis—when from fragments of knowledge, hypotheses, and guesses a coherent edifice of a complete mental structure, a scientific theory, etc., emerges—all this arises with the direct participation of Aquarius. The Aquarius situation does not shine with emotionality and is not expressed in immediate changes of dense forms, though it is sometimes accompanied by the collapse of outdated mental constructs and theories when they are subjected to witty and sometimes devastating criticism from an unexpected angle. Aquarius pours from his two pitchers both living and dead water; the first (primarily Uranian) is intended for the constructive implementation of evolutionary ideas, while the second (predominantly Saturnian-Plutonian) serves the purposes of inspection, verification (Saturn), and destruction (Pluto) of everything obsolete that hinders evolutionary development.
For a mature Aquarius situation, it is characteristic not only of the originality and somewhat fantastic nature of the dominant ideas but also of their greater imperative (the constant cross): one feels that they cannot be brushed aside, that they possess great power, and in one form or another will inevitably enter life. Often one hears about the power and habits of the past, which are very difficult to overcome (Saturn’s lesson), yet the imperative situations of Aquarius, when the future bursts in like a tank attack, are rarely recognized.
The lower-octave Aquarius situation, by contrast, is perceived as random, chaotic, and accompanied by mad ideas, false eccentricity, foolish and incomprehensible stubbornness, and excessive demands for mental freedom without corresponding inner discipline. Here, the idea of friendship and cosmic cooperation can devolve into attempts at collective sex (with a mental nuance) or group mental meditations without a clear constructive goal, especially within the framework of a mental religion with complex symbolism and ideology but without true religious content—that is, a channel to a sufficiently high egregore.
The Sun’s fall shows that the karmic task symbolized by this position is complex.
Integrating the Sun involves a certain self-denial, a conscious submission of one’s will to the will of the egregore transmitting information to the solar Aquarius. The first step on the path of integrating this Sun position is recognizing the fact that a person does not generate information but receives it, which occasionally flashes into his mind as revelations, and that his task is to serve merely as a transmitter of this information to others.
The Sun demands that the entire conscious will of the solar Aquarius be subordinated to this goal and accordingly shapes his ethics, which places at its head the principle of cosmic cooperation and the voluntary offering and acceptance of assistance from higher to lower in evolutionary development.
Since this ethics is socially almost everywhere unacceptable on Earth at present, it forms in the subconscious of Aquarius and is perceived by him in a highly distorted form, making the integration of this Sun position difficult. Thus, solar Aquarians are usually perceived by others as cold, detached people, talented in the sciences (an air sign), but incomprehensible in behavior and inner motivations.
The coldness of Aquarius is the ethics of the future, which to a limited extent concerns the lower emotions of the present: they are greatly distorted, since for him the correct vision of the world and evolution is largely closed off, and on the other hand, due to the moment of self-denial (the Sun’s fall), since strong personal emotions prevent a person from accurately fulfilling the will of the egregore. It should be noted that this self-denial is voluntary only at a high evolutionary level, when a person begins to see the laws of karma and the true goals of group work; until then, the solar Aquarius is far less free in his will than other solar signs, with the possible exception of the solar Leo.

Those with the Sun in Aquarius have an eccentric temperament, decisiveness, and stubbornness. In their efforts to renew their surroundings, they may go so far as to seek change for the sake of change itself. The desire for spiritual renewal in them often coexists with buffoonery and charlatanism. To demonstrate something as well as possible, they may resort to improper means, as a result of which the desired outcome is not achieved.
They often feel that people do not understand their ideas. Indeed, it is difficult to say whether they are truly obsessed with the idea of the new, the idea of reform, or whether they are maliciously joking and playing pranks. After all, they are truly spiritually developed, impressionable, and active, and their ideas are genuinely good, but the reputation of an unserious person prone to profanation causes caution among those around them. And not without reason, since sometimes they ruin even the best reforms due to their embellishment and too many promises. They have many ideas, but lack the strength and seriousness to consistently fight for them.
While preaching idealism, in critical situations they may not set such an example. They dream of influential positions, but for the sake of them may not want to leave their cozy apartment. This can lead to Oblomovism.
They puzzle everyone and always; perhaps bluffing is their essence. And yet they are not only pranksters but also excellent inventors and geniuses (which they consider themselves to be). They keep pace with the times. They are always in search, but not in a systematic way, rather impulsively; their inventions are not the result of long and painstaking work and observations, but sudden inspiration.
They often react unexpectedly, intelligently, but not logically. They question everything, criticize, but do not respond to criticism themselves. They seem contradictory and capricious, may even appear to not believe in the cause they are engaged in and proclaim, but this is because they know people and know that heightened demands cannot be made of them. They are very humane, and in their tolerance they are great.
They dress carelessly or with excessive elegance, or brightly and showily. They have a developed intellect and communicate friendly with all people. They produce a varied impression. Their interests lie more in the spiritual realm. They work better in a collective that aims to realize an ideal, then all their talents and tirelessness manifest. They are drawn to technology, in which they are very inventive, as well as everywhere where something needs to be clarified, re-registered, reclassified, or intuition used (in medicine - psychology), as well as in all new directions of science.
They have the ability to discover talents. Their activity is great but not uniform; sometimes they are like a storm, sometimes there is not a breath of wind. They need original work with ideas; they quickly get up to speed, can replace any position, and quickly orient themselves in unfamiliar places.
Connections through unusual acquaintances. A partner must be original, striking. There should be no boredom. They are loved for their unexpected ideas, unpredictability; one cannot get bored with them, but whether a partner can withstand this constant change of moods, the unexpectedness of actions, is another question. Usually it is better than those around them think, since Aquarians have a sense of responsibility: family has meaning for them, and children are the purpose of human life. In the family there is mutual assistance; children are raised with very progressive methods, and their home has a pleasant atmosphere.
Dangers: the striving for originality can become a mania; unusualness can repel others. Individualism, poor concentration, frivolity in communication, unseriousness.
You are freedom-loving. You have a strong will. In your assessments, you rely only on your mind and persistently strive to build your life as you see fit, even if it means violating accepted rules and traditions. In personal relationships, you are not capable of giving yourself into the power of anyone. And although you acknowledge that receiving something from a person requires giving back part of yourself in return, it is difficult for you to accept this emotional balance of close, intimate relationships. Although intellectually you are an open person, in individual communication, one-on-one, you can be exceptionally stubborn, incapable of perceiving another's opinion, inflexible. You have strict convictions about what is fair and what is not, about equality in relationships, and you try to live in accordance with your ideals. But your ideal notions of how people should treat each other do not always take into account human weaknesses, differences, and needs. You probably do not like sentimentality, traditional gender role distinctions, and the "games" people play.
You are fair, intelligent, objective, and often prefer your head over your heart. It seems that in emotional terms no one is needed except yourself. You are detached from people but capable of putting aside your personal feelings to look at things impartially. But once you have made a decision, you cannot be moved: you can be quite dogmatic.
You have a tendency for broad thinking, serious concern with matters beyond your personal sphere: the life of your city, country, and even planet. Perhaps you will engage in municipal affairs, the affairs of public organizations, various groups, and show keen interest in their activities. You take pleasure in participating in mass events and often find yourself as organizer, administrator, or leader of various associations.
You are a person of progressive convictions, place great hopes on the future, and closely follow all changes in the world. You react vividly to various currents in contemporary culture, new ideas, and changes in lifestyle. In youth, you easily succumbed to the influence of your peers, group pressure, and followed the latest fashion. Your mind, inclined to experimentation, always responded to everything new.
Your strongest qualities: you are concerned that people live better, that society functions better. You have a developed sense of justice, democratism, and ability to look ahead. Your weaknesses are stubbornness, inflexibility, insensitivity, and even dullness when it comes to personal feelings and human needs.

Here we have the Air element in the zone of transformation. This is an unstable Air, mutable, transforming. The main planetary rulers are Uranus and Saturn.
The symbol of Aquarius is a person holding two vessels, one containing living water and the other dead water. In some ways, you are a person who separates Good and Evil, Black and White. On the external level, you are usually very active, sociable, communicative; you are attracted to everything new, everything related to spiritual growth – this comes from your Air element. You usually quickly make contact with anyone, often striving for freedom in your ideological convictions, for equality and brotherhood in general. The slogan "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity" symbolizes the three Air signs of the Zodiac: "Fraternity" is Gemini, "Equality" is Libra, "Liberty" is Aquarius.
You adore your circle of acquaintances and friends, perhaps you cannot live without communicating with people close to you, and you surely value people highly and easily establish friendly relationships with anyone. You can objectively assess a person and a situation.
On the internal level, the Water of the next sign, Pisces, begins to resonate within you, forming qualities such as changeability, capacity for transformation, and spiritual tact. Your attitude towards acquaintances can change dramatically throughout your life. Despite your external activity, you are internally somewhat isolated, possessing a certain detachment; you know how to take the position of an observer. You never push yourself into the center of events, often having extravagant, original behavior, thinking, and ideas. But despite your extravagance, you almost always possess the ability for self-observation of your consciousness, for self-control. You may at times exhibit spontaneous psychological abilities, capacities for penetrating the mysteries of the psyche, even flashes of revelation that amount to prophecy.
You always strive not only for originality in your manifestations but often for an original way of life. Sometimes you express extraordinary thoughts that are ahead of their time and do not fit into the minds of your contemporaries. It happens that tomorrow you might discard what you worshipped yesterday; you can also express very sharp judgments on the same issue. An example of such an Aquarius was the poet and philosopher V. Solovyov, who, brilliantly participating in various debates, demonstrated the validity of his point of view with great conviction, refuting opponents' arguments. And after that, without any embarrassment, he would adopt the opposite viewpoint and easily prove the contrary, refuting himself. Therefore, in the worst-case scenario, you often criticize what you previously favored, what was close to you in the past, but today seems alien. In general, you are characterized by very quick and unexpected connections in society.
Moreover, many changes occur in your life, often unexpectedly. Your profession becomes your hobby, and your hobby grows into a profession, and sometimes you cannot separate one from the other. In the lower manifestation, this sounds like: "Your savings book is my savings book."
Among Aquarians, one can find many science fiction writers, magicians, manipulators, and artists of original genres. Aquarians included writers Jules Verne, Dickens, I. Krylov, Zhukovsky, Stendhal, Beaumarchais, the writer Garshin, and Vladimir Vysotsky; scientists Mendeleev and Edison; and very original and enigmatic musicians – Mendelssohn, Schubert, Mozart.
In the worst case, you are an anarchist, a person without moral principles, a gambler in life. You often lead an extravagant lifestyle, fool around, portray yourselves as clowns and magicians. You seem to mix the concepts of Good and Evil from the two vessels, creating unimaginable cocktails from them. Therefore, one must be very careful with you. An example from literature: Stavrogin from F.M. Dostoevsky's "Demons."
If we talk about the dynamics of your development, these are constant sudden upheavals, irrational and original, and then a slow and steady attraction to one of the poles, to one of the opinions.
The country of Aquarius is Russia. From Aquarius, we have breadth of soul, a striving for freedom. And from the worst, extremes, when people first kiss and then fight.
Your spiritual challenges lie in purifying your consciousness from illusion, to prioritize in your spiritual evolution the high ideals of divine revelation of information that pours upon us as an informational stream. You are a very interesting person; original ideas, thoughts, and information often come to your mind, which sometimes do not fit into your understanding. You seem to receive information from the future, and sometimes it is very difficult for you to comprehend it.
Your spiritual karmic goal is to understand this information, translate it into a language understandable to people, and give it to others.

The Sun in Aquarius
Distinctive traits of character and temperament include originality and eccentricity, a creative mind and inventiveness, a tendency toward invention and progressive reforms, rejection of old patterns and rotten dogmas, as well as persistence, stubbornness in defending one’s own views and opinions, beliefs, worldviews, and fanaticism. The path to life success and social advancement never follows a straight line. It is a very winding path, always dependent on intuitively grasping new fortunate thoughts, ideas, and opportunities.
Often, they cross out with a single stroke a profession already mastered or an activity begun, starting something new. Probably that is why they reach their life goal by circuitous routes, various detours.
Purer "Aquarians," as a rule, have neither prejudices nor biases. They walk their own path, without advice or hints from outside, along the way reworking all outdated norms and traditions, improving them, whether in spiritual, social spheres or in the fields of atomic and space, electronic and laser science. Most "Aquarians" are representatives of the collective type of people who feel well only among friends. They poorly tolerate work associated with a strict schedule, daily commuting to work, as well as a conservative or philistine lifestyle.
And since they require all kinds of changes and alterations, upheavals and rearrangements, freedom of action and personal freedom, independence and autonomy both in life in general and at work in particular, most of them choose free professions for themselves.
Experimental and research work is the dream of any highly developed "Aquarian," who is most repelled by service in a strictly organized institution, office, or commercial enterprise.
In science, favorite directions include psychology and sociology, parapsychology, psychoanalysis, phrenology, graphology, psychiatry, psychotherapy, philosophy and social sciences, astronomy and astrology, life reforms, and research in nutrition and hygiene.
Most "Aquarians" are engaged in the field of cutting-edge technology—this is radio and television engineering, space, radar, electronic, atomic and laser physics, modern construction technology, construction of civilian and military ships, aircraft and spacecraft, complexes. They are talented designers, TV and film directors, operators, as well as divers, creators of the latest synthetic materials.
In the world of art and the arts, they confidently advance in the field of theatrical stage and cinematography, in ballet and choreography, dance, rhythmics, plastic arts, gymnastics, in artistic disciplines, in painting and graphics. Aquarians are also well represented in the field of vocal art.
In medicine, they make good homeopaths and bioradiologists, hypnotists and psychotherapists, psychiatrists and neuropathologists.
Many "Aquarians" are found among philosophers, writers, screenwriters, poets, playwrights, advocates of occult and esoteric sciences, craftsmen, and simply original eccentrics. An innumerable number masterfully handle the most delicate instruments and tools—machines and various equipment. They are knowledgeable guides, conductors. Some of them are realists and practitioners, others are idealists and romantics. Both the former and the latter can face material difficulties, and constant changes and alternations of mood often weaken professional stability. And one more thing—they categorically reject any kind of violence and coercion.

"How your child likes to shine"
Don't be surprised if your little star baby seems a little different from everyone else from the very beginning. Maybe a little mysterious. Or more intelligent. Or eccentric. If you have even an ounce of free spirit, you will get along great with this child. If you are inclined towards conservatism and traditions, be prepared for some disagreements. This child is an INDIVIDUALS and will strive to do things his own way, even if it means challenging your opinions about the correctness of his actions.
"Why?" This is a question you'll hear often, and it's best to be prepared to give a stronger argument than "because I said so." Your child will be more cooperative if he understands logically why something should be the way it is. He can be taught to respect other people's opinions and ideas, even if he doesn't agree with them. But only as long as they do not invade his individuality. You should think carefully about which areas of behavior are most important to you and why. You can achieve better agreement on more important issues if you allow him free expression in less important situations. For example, a weird hairstyle may be a good trade-in for good grades in school, which will give your little reformer a solid education to turn his ideas for social change into reality. Got the idea? Aquarians always think ahead.
Your child may greet you fluently and affectionately, but don't expect excessive sentiment or emotion in personal relationships. He will be friendly and open with everyone, but will rarely allow anyone to get too close. This child is unlikely to cling to his mother or express much emotion within the family, but will provide selfless help to others if he sees a need. This child may not hear you talk about the need to clean the room, but he may walk around the yard or park collecting trash.
Your child will like everything new and unusual - in ideas, in fashion, in technology. If possible, buy him a computer or encourage him in this direction at school. Let him try himself in free artistic forms and modern dances. And perhaps in astrology!
Indubala. Planets in Signs. (Indian Tradition). Planets in Signs
Aquarius is a "masculine", fixed, positive sign associated with the element of air, ruled by the universal servant Saturn and depicted by a woman carrying a jug. Thus, these people are capable of suffering for the benefit of others;
their activities can be useful for humanity in general. Here the Sun is in a sign hostile to it and does not reach its full strength. It is usually found that people born with this combination in the horoscope have some period of poverty or are in a subordinate position in relation to people who are inferior to them in ability. The Sun in Aquarius, as it were, teaches a person: he is placed in such circumstances in which he studies the highest goal of life, be it spiritual development, or service for the benefit of others. Thus, these people rise above their egoism, which is usually inherent in them from birth.
They are able to learn easily; usually have an interest in mystical knowledge - since Aquarius is a sign associated with the element of air (significant mental activity) and is ruled by Saturn (indicating success in yoga). All classical texts say that the Sun in Aquarius gives its owner little happiness from children, brings losses associated with the father's property, a tendency to heart disease, a tendency to actions that are not in keeping with their position in life. Their wealth is not sustainable. All these qualities may or may not appear depending on the position in the rest of the chart. But there is no doubt that this person will have abilities in the field of literature. Such people love new ideas, want social reforms and improve the situation of the oppressed masses. They are patient, reliable, and work hard. These are attractive, generous, broad-minded people, diligent, devoted, harmless, sometimes a little eccentric.
