Sun in the 12th House

Imagination. Fantasy occupies a central place in your life. Without dreams, there is no vital energy. Fantasies are woven around two groups of images: monumental self-importance, where you command the entire universe, or total sacrifice, liberation from the "self" and dissolution in the cosmos. The difference lies in the fact that one image expands the ego, while the other evaporates it, but the final result is identical: reunion with all. The trap is the inability to distinguish between what is real and what is merely possible; what truly happens and what occurs in your imagination. Do not lose yourself in the Twilight Zone; you may go mad. The task is not to resist either space. Let dreams influence your real life and vice versa, and let fantasies gently guide your development rather than clouding reality. Diffuse intuition. Grant intuitive perception an important place in your life without controlling the specifics of what you receive, and your life will be filled with energy and vibrancy. Reject intuition, and you will cut off access to cosmic energy. Do not strain to understand why you enter streams of images, feelings, and bits of information. Do not try to decipher what they mean or what you should do with them. Your task is to remain radiantly calm, vibrantly quiet. The trap is misinterpretation, creating elaborate forms while missing the truth. The task is to become a pure channel through which the universe could send messages; to become a prism for invisible light. Withdrawal or solitude. You need to distance yourself from ordinary life very often. You need solitude to recharge. Your life’s purpose reveals itself when you are most isolated from life. When you return to the world, you are filled with renewed enthusiasm. You are everywhere and nowhere at once, a real person and merely a vessel into which divine revelations pour. Balancing this paradox, the simultaneous existence of both poles, grants you strength. Meditation in some form is an absolute necessity. Selfless service. When you give yourself fully with complete compassion, you directly connect to your divinity. When you act with forgiveness, you absorb life force. When you surrender yourself, you fulfill what fate has decreed. Yet such self-surrender does not mean martyrdom for you. You should not sacrifice yourself entirely. Instead, you must make people understand that we are all passengers on the same ship. Do not strive to be a saint, for such behavior often boomerangs back to fuel your ego. Respond with your entire being, your whole life, to the force that comes not from ordinary human selfhood but from above. “Not my will, but Thine.” “Past lives.” Your past lives press upon you, urging you to feel and understand them. You must unite the entire set of past lives in your current incarnation if you wish for the holistic evolutionary pattern to be filled with spiritual meaning. The precise nature of these lives cannot be assessed solely by the Sun’s position. Yet we can assume that their foundation is the development of the efficiency of the personality’s existence through the fullness of individual power. Additionally, your relationships with your father or other authoritative figures likely have a karmic nature. A sufficiently natural trap lies in repeating past mistakes without freeing yourself from attachment to them, allowing these patterns to play a leading role in your life. The task is to see in every event a sign of the past and adjust your behavior accordingly. Ultimately, you can achieve true spontaneity rather than being destroyed by recurring cycles of unconscious reactivity.

The Creator God. This person’s (karmic) will must be directed toward impersonal service to the Absolute, and if the individual does not do so, karma takes unambiguous measures to steer them onto this path. In the harmonious variant, the pressure of fate does not cause the person any particular discomfort; they willingly do what it offers and are not inclined to complain. The only issue is that they sometimes lack conscientiousness, first due to the general relaxing effect of harmonious aspects, and second because the responsibility of service through the 12th house becomes evident only at a high level of personal development. Nevertheless, even with a perfectly harmonious Sun, the person feels a sense of difference and distance from all other people and from the world as a whole, as if wrapped in a thin but quite tangible shell. The purpose of this shell, of constant confinement, is not to separate the person from the world but to separate them from their own lower manifestations, so they can perform their service at a sufficiently high level. However, the person rarely understands their position and purpose correctly, especially in youth, and often seeks to destroy this shell and be like everyone else, sometimes deliberately indulging in debauchery in an attempt to achieve this—though it will never satisfy them or yield the desired result. The afflicted Sun gives a rigid karmic program: the external world guides the person along a complex but clearly defined path, and they must learn to align their will with the imperative decrees of the Absolute, accurately discerning them—a task achieved only through long practice and the complete abandonment of arrogance and personal attachment to their life. This person is a hostage of the Absolute, and only internal freedom is permitted to them: external limitations must be observed. Volitional rebellion here leads to catastrophe (for example, hospitalization). Working through this position requires the ability to calm and subdue the lower will, after which the person’s own—and partially the world’s—karma is revealed to them, and within its framework, the freedom of life’s creativity. This Sun position predetermines the necessity of sacrifices, primarily in the form of restricting external freedom of will, and one must learn to recognize these restrictions and voluntarily follow them, perceiving them as guidance toward the correct path. At a low level, fate manifests as a prisoner of circumstances or a jailer of loved ones. The main hidden enemy is one’s own voluntarism, the imperatives of the ego perceived as absolute or as directives from the higher self. This person understands the outcast, the unfortunate, and the lonely very well and feels a duty toward them, but will only help them selflessly after significant work on this Sun position: at a low level, they will hope for reward; at a middle level, they will secretly expect a sense of unity, reciprocal sympathy, or at least admiration and fleeting power over those they assist. In life, there are many mysteries, riddles, and mystical coincidences whose meaning should be sought more in the inner life than in the external.

Though such a person lacks self-confidence and enjoys spending considerable time in solitude, they are still capable of understanding the subconscious part of their own nature. Until the age of thirty, they are influenced by many restrictions. They are drawn to work in organizations, charitable societies, and research centers, though more often they prefer to remain far from the public eye. This aspect is excellent for acting, as playing a role helps conceal their true feelings. When planetary energy is misused, such a person becomes their own worst enemy. They must learn to serve others and never indulge in self-pity. These individuals love to retreat into their depths to explore the sources of their subconscious. They often live in solitude and avoid active social interactions. Even if they hold a leadership position, they prefer to act "behind the scenes." They show active interest in psychology and esotericism. They find self-affirmation in work at hospitals, shelters, religious institutions, and correctional facilities. Misuse of energy amplifies neurasthenic tendencies, creates extreme shyness, and even reclusiveness. There is a desire to secretly guide others through hidden means. Such people are unconsciously selfish and openly strive for power, though they do not show it, for their ambition is buried deep in the psyche. Even their leadership style is unobtrusive yet vivid, hidden behind the scenes and mysterious. Such a person often has many strong secret enemies. Their tastes and inclinations are rare and unusual. They can succeed in medicine, chemistry, and esotericism. They require calm, safe, and secluded activities, as solitude allows them to assert themselves and avoid disturbing conflicts. Their life unfolds far from their native places; aid and mercy come swiftly once they recognize a need or necessity. They are inclined toward self-sacrifice, love obscurity, patiently endure solitude, and often seek stimulating situations that could awaken their perceptions and "tickle their nerves." They achieve success in life through honest, selfless labor, overcoming significant obstacles along the way. There is a tendency toward mystical perception of the world, which leads to alienation from people. Superiors regard such employees with barely concealed disdain, as rumors and gossip give them a bad reputation. When energy is misused, their health is weak. There is a tendency to unconsciously create conditions that restrict their own freedom. One should judge from which sphere of life to expect them by the solar house ruled by the Sun. If the ruler of the Sun is also located in the 12th house of the solar, one can speak of some kind of imprisonment, confinement, restriction of freedom of action or (with positive aspectation of the Sun) of voluntary seclusion, deepening of spiritual practices. The year is not favorable for public life, business activity, career. There may be binding of secret love relationships, especially in a woman. A person's attention is also drawn to the state of their health, which is gradually deteriorating, giving unclear symptoms. Diseases tend to pass into a chronic phase. With unfavorable aspectation of the Sun, the body may be significantly exhausted and not fight the disease.

Tendency to withdraw into oneself, often lonely and alienated from normal contacts. They find self-affirmation by working in hospitals, shelters, and places of physical and spiritual solitude. Secret activities. They may have very strong secret enemies or unconsciously be their own enemies. You are interested in professions related to helping or activities where your efforts are not visible, where you can act behind the scenes. Having to assert yourself or stand in front of an audience can make you very uncomfortable.

The task of a person is to.Internalize the debts of the collective. The karma of the collective or society in which he was born. "A hostage of the system."
