You dream of an ideal structure. You want your style of behavior, your path to be planned by a more powerful authority than yourself; your fantasy clearly has a paternal hue. You yearn for firm authority, universal discipline, even for restrictions. Teachers and social institutions have had a strong influence on your life. However, the search for authority outside yourself indicates a passionate desire to return to childhood, to free yourself from the real problem of making independent decisions about which path to take in life. The task is to recognize the need for structure but not to imprison yourself or humiliate yourself, but to gain the stability you so desire.
Defocused intuition. You surround yourself with mysteries to spur the development of your own intuition. But the heaviness of your ambition hinders you from achieving this goal. You worry about the possibility of misperception. You want to transcend your ego, but you are deeply concerned about the lack of personal security. You may fall into traps of naive credulity and rigid cynicism—drowning in the whirlpool of metaphysical chaff and the pearls of false mysticism, rejecting real intuitive messages. The task is to work diligently on developing intuition, studying the process of intuitive perception and its technical aspects. As your abilities develop, your sensitivity will increase, and eventually you will gain lightness and refinement.
Detachment or solitude. Your work isolates you from others. This can be literal solitude, as in the case of a scientist or researcher working in a monastic setting, or metaphorical solitude, as in the case of a person who does not actually know which career to choose and as a result feels cut off from the world. Your real work is often carried out behind the scenes, away from the podium of the social ego. The trap is that in some cases the role of your profession becomes so great that a person is suppressed by their career, overshadowed by it. The task is to grasp all the ramifications of your work as the waves of your labor penetrate the world.
Selfless help. Selflessness is your duty. First, you fear that your fate is to sacrifice, to give away what little you believe you possess. Curiously, you also fear being selfish. You may even believe that, when all is said and done and all external polish is removed, your help will be seen as pretense. These extremes of service literally tear you apart; you force yourself to give, leaving little room for reward. You work overtime on self-purification, not always at the level of motives, but at the level of behavior—undoubtedly beyond doubt. The task is to gradually master the art of selfless help that does not bring suffering; slowly teaching yourself to offer help in ways that also help you rather than humiliate you. Do not offer help if it harms you; help in a way that allows you to fully express yourself.
“Past lives.” In past lives, you were very closely connected with responsibility and public authority. Perhaps you had a large office, were responsible for other people, or were a subordinate. But something happened that made you feel the full weight of responsibility, all of it unconsciously perceived. Perhaps, so to speak, you “dropped the ball” on others, or the ball was dropped on you. In any case, the unconscious patterns reflect themes of power, responsibility, and guilt. You are likely now working out karma with your father or another authoritative figure. It is important for you to uncover the subtle rhythms of these relationships—in past lives, at the beginning of this life, and now. You must identify any signs of indifference, cruelty, or bankruptcy in your way of exercising power or manifesting ambition. The task is to fully forgive yourself and become a conscious adult.

Such a person is painfully sensitive and therefore tends to prudently isolate themselves from others. If circumstances do not allow for solitude, they live with an ever-present longing for the long-awaited isolation. They can enjoy solitude. Their creative abilities flourish only when they manage to work in seclusion. However, excessive isolation may lead to a sense of loneliness and fears. Since such a person is firmly bound by conventional customs and the opinions of authorities, they tend to conceal their problems from others and habitually believe that everyone is against them. They should diligently cultivate an optimistic outlook on the world and bright hopes for the future. They must avoid selfishness and serve their loved ones and all of humanity with care. A planet’s affliction may indicate an early loss of the father. Such a person enjoys working behind the scenes—in hospitals, universities, administrative offices, and trading companies. They often gain recognition as a psychologist or philanthropist. Misuse of energy leads to a persistent sense of loneliness and deep depressions. Life is full of encounters with ill-wishers. However, they often imagine their enemies, who exist only in their imagination. By serving others and working concretely and practically, they should rid themselves of numerous and burdensome psychological problems. Such a person finds happiness in solitude and complete silence. Their character is secretive, with a tendency toward isolation and concealing their own positions. They strive to work in secret and live unnoticed or apart. They are filled with sorrow, fears, and disappointments. They are often subjected to false accusations and even deprivation of freedom and imprisonment. Confinement in a neurological clinic is not excluded. Their enemies are dishonest and relentlessly persistent. They do not hesitate to use any means in their struggle against them, so they constantly face betrayals, deceptions, and slander. Moreover, they lack the ability to distinguish friends from enemies. As a result, over the years, they become restrained, distrustful, and fearful. They master various methods of resistance and rivalry—from lawsuits with neighbors to the art of building defensive fortifications. Their life is surrounded by gossip and quarrels. Friends often become enemies. A tendency toward melancholy is often exacerbated by significant hostility from their environment. Their reserves of willpower are vast. They can overcome everything and everyone, but to do so, they must learn to apply their existing strength. There is a tendency toward chronic illnesses and a propensity for quarrels with household members. For such a person’s life to be happy, it must be filled with peace, justice, and labor. In a certain sense, they inevitably lose personal freedom and individual independence. Their home is something between a monastic cell, an emigrant’s cabin, and a hospital bed. A life partner may have poor health. Life is full of struggles for survival, with the constant threat of forced isolation from society. Troubles pursue such a person at every step until they overcome their own jealousy and envy.

The 12th house.
This difficult position implies a deep exploration of themes related to loneliness and selfless service. From a young age, this person will feel the principle "no good deed goes unpunished," as their unselfish help or minor self-sacrifice will always lead to the necessity of hard, meaningless labor, black ingratitude, and, as a result, a profound sense of loneliness. Every sincere attempt to open their heart to another will end in failure, which, with a harmonious Saturn, will be softened and easily repressed into the subconscious, while with a challenged Saturn, the person may develop a neurosis or irrational phobia centered around their extreme vulnerability.
On the other hand, withdrawing into themselves, the person will initially feel nothing but dull melancholy and boredom, seeking distraction in one way or another. However, the processing of Saturn in the 12th house follows the path of deep self-understanding, their inner frigidity, consistent selfishness, and reluctance to do anything for others without expecting something in return. Of course, no person (even with a challenged Saturn and 12th house) is reduced to these programs, but in this case, they are embedded in the subconscious so deeply that until the person tracks them down and overcomes them, they will not allow them to escape their confinement. The person must accept many (external and internal) limitations as a given, reconcile themselves to them, and fulfill their karmic program, seeking their freedom—primarily the freedom of creativity—within these fate-imposed boundaries.
Here, the processing yields wisdom, a deep understanding of life, and insight into both external and internal karma, as well as all aspects of people’s spiritual development. However, it demands exceptional self-denial, diligence, tolerance toward others, and strict demands toward oneself.
With proper processing, this person will one day discover that they can solve others’ problems simply by working on themselves, and then, after some time, a direct connection with a high egregore will open up, allowing them to work directly within it. But initially, the sense of support from the Absolute is absent; the person may become a complete egoist and pragmatist, risking, after the age of 30, to become completely deadened and a puppet of a rigid egregore, losing the last remnants of free will.
