Mars Opposition: Having conquered an external enemy, watch how it becomes internal; having mastered the internal, watch how it becomes externalized. The Planet's principle in opposition to Mars will be constantly subject to forceful influence, and establishing interaction with this force will be quite difficult. If the primary emphasis is on the Planet, and the person identifies to a certain extent with its principle, then the external environment quickly becomes aggressive and begins to greatly hinder them. If they begin to actively fight it, they quickly develop a taste for the struggle and, forgetting their original plans, overemphasize the opposition. As a result, Mars becomes internally emphasized, and the Planet's principle loses its significance for the person, shifting to the external world and acquiring the role of an enemy, as described by the well-known aphorism, "What you fight for, you get." For example, when Mars opposes Saturn, one cannot strive for discipline; one can only honestly strive to be disciplined to the best of one's ability. Otherwise, such a struggle ends in major troubles, external limitations (the lower octave of Saturn), and the triumph of inner chaos. Here, the problem often manifests itself in the fact that a person feels strength only during the external manifestations of the Planetary principle, but is inclined to fight them. Having conquered and internalized the Planet, one completely loses this strength. The most painful and incomprehensible moments are precisely the subtle moments of the opposition reversal, i.e., the re-emphasis of Mars and the Planet. Working through this reversal brings sustained strength to the Planetary manifestations, precisely in the quantity and vibrations it requires, which gives one greater self-confidence and the ability to balance the most acute and tense situations (related to the Planetary principle and the houses in which it and Mars are located and rule, as well as the aspects of these planets). At a low level, and especially when Mars is afflicted, its opposition can result in destructive aggression, both for the individual and for the external environment. It should be noted that instability of the opposition, i.e., frequent, uncontrolled shifts in planetary emphasis, indicates a poorly processed opposition. Conversely, systematic work on monitoring and consciously managing it is the most effective means of achieving stability and harmony with oneself and the external world. Jupiter Opposition: If, when proud of another, we identify with them, then, when proud of ourselves, we must project ourselves onto someone. Jupiter's opposition gives the Planet (and the individual themselves, in the spheres governed by it) a sense of extraordinary self-importance. Indeed, processing such an opposition gives the Planet an exceptionally stable (karmically), privileged position and constantly emerging opportunities to expand its principle, both in the individual's own life and in the lives of those associated with them. At a low level, however, there is no constructive interaction between the Jupiterian and Planetary principles, and depending on the emphasis on the planets in opposition, a person finds themselves in one of two situations. It is, of course, more pleasant when the emphasis is on Jupiter, and a person in the Planet's sphere of influence internally feels rich and a potential benefactor to a select few at their discretion. At the same time, however, the Planetary principle is lost behind their ego, imperceptibly externalizing, and gradually begins to work against them. For example, Jupiter's opposition to Venus can produce a talented and highly erudite art critic, but at a low level of this aspect, the person will only imagine (but with complete inner confidence) that they have a brilliant understanding of art (and love). They will constantly emerge with their judgments and aplomb and just as constantly find themselves in trouble, which, however, may not bother them much. (A pronounced opposition to Jupiter, for example, its opposition to a stellium, can produce, along with great opportunities and abilities and powerful patrons, a complete blindness to one's own grandeur, insane conceit, and a complete lack of self-criticism.) An emphasis on the planet, on the contrary, activates a variety of external opportunities for realizing its principle, which is a great temptation for a person, but working through this aspect leads to the expansion of internal capabilities. Thus, with Venus in opposition to Jupiter, this alternative, in a situation of emphasis on Venus, may look like this: either external fame, exhibitions, public and international activity, or a change in creative channel (a mastered style or technique) and the development of a new one. Saturn's opposition to Jupiter may at some point confront a person with a choice: either rigidly manage numerous subjects or develop and master vast areas of the inner world. Both may be necessary in life, but it's important not to confuse the order of these periods of one's life.

Almost everyone considers such people undisciplined and disorganized, as they squander their innate talent on impulsive and erroneous actions. They have much at their disposal, but almost always miss their opportunities. They are very hardworking and enjoy working in a group. If they don't see immediate results from their work, they tend to become irritated and impatient. They tend to exaggerate everything and have unreasonable expectations, which often leaves them dissatisfied and bitter. Such people must always clearly define their goals and stand firmly on reality. Often, these aspects symbolize poor health, prudishness, laziness, a tendency to deceive, a love of squabbles, and a high likelihood of criminal activity. Frequently, these people are known as spendthrifts and extravagant individuals, recklessly spending on friends and loved ones, the results of such eccentric generosity being disastrous not only for themselves but also for others. These people find it very difficult to control their own finances, which is why luck rarely finds them. Their near-success is fraught with disasters, falls, and downward spirals. They often exploit the power of the collective and public opinion to satisfy their own passions and achieve personal glory. They always and everywhere display a tendency toward violence and are capable of justifying any crime by appealing to high social values. Such people are prone to misuse others' funds. They often turn out to be religious or social fanatics and political extremists. They usually bring much misfortune and destruction to others if they fail to control the intense energies of Mars and Jupiter.

Your child is very energetic, prone to exaggeration, and sometimes stubborn. He loves sports, is confident in himself, confident in victory and gets irritated if he does not see immediate results of his work. He needs to be helped to develop discipline within himself. This open and generous child is ready to share his energy with others. His problems may lie in expressing his energy too intensely through rage, force and anger. It can be difficult for him to relax. Parents should not punish a child for excessive displays of force or anger, but show him that these negative displays can cause suffering to others, and provide the child with the opportunity to realize his physical manifestations in an appropriate sport.

Their crusades are purely for their own benefit, whether for material gain or to show off. They are stubborn and aggressive in promoting their views, which is unpopular with others. Arrogant, they can start a great enterprise without funds. They are adventurers. Restless, with a passion for travel and adventure. In extreme cases, they are greedy and dishonest. They are not good for speculation, or they need to find reliable partners. They overestimate their own importance. In reality, they lack regular work.

Opposition, square: instead of energy there is aggressiveness that does not recognize laws, order and rules. Such a person only feels at ease in battle; he constantly denounces someone's hypocrisy or someone's principles, not caring that with his criticism he can cause harm. He has a lot of fanfare, he certainly wants to be in power, is very touchy and hates giving anyone an account of the correctness of his actions. He considers himself a performer, the most important of missions, and constantly strives to teach others.

You don't lack drive, but you may lack good judgment at times. You could rush into things before thinking them through, and thus not have adequate planning and forethought. You may take a career in something unsuited to your real feelings and emotional demands. Your emotions could bring on problems in your job and affect your career. Arguments on these issues abound. It may take some careful footwork on your part to find a way of making a living that does not hamper your feelings.
